How Meeting Mode works, and what it is — and isn’t — for.
Consent first
Meeting Mode asks you to confirm that everyone present consents before recording. Recording laws vary by state and situation — you are responsible for following the rules that apply to you.
Visible recording state
Recording is never hidden. The app shows a clear in-progress state while audio is being captured. You can pause, resume, mark important moments, and stop when finished.
On your device
Audio is stored encrypted on your iPhone. Transcription and draft findings run on-device where available. Nothing is uploaded to an IEP Proof server.
Drafts need your review
Transcripts and findings are drafts generated to save you time. You review, edit, and approve them. Only what you approve becomes part of your record or an export.
